Rūdninki has three lakes. “Lake Kernavas (81 ha) is surrounded on all sides by marshes, mostly dwarf marshes covered with alder or dwarf pine trees. The ‘Šulnio’ lake (1.5 ha), located close to the polygon, is also surrounded by wetlands. It is a typical dystrophic high marsh lake with many small-flowered water lilies. In the south-east of Rūdninki, in the marshland bounded by continental dunes, there is the ‘Gulbino’ lake.
