THE ANA KREPŠTUL MUSEUM

The Tabariškės Multifunctional Centre houses a museum of the folk painter Anna Krepštul (1932-2007). During her lifetime, the sick woman painted more than 3 500 paintings full of beauty, goodness and peace.

50 of them are on display in the museum, while the rest are in collections in Lithuania, Poland, the USA, England and other countries. They also adorn churches in Rostov-on-Don in Russia and Vitebsk in Belarus. The art room has also been restored. In it, you can see the wheelchair in which the artist used to sit to paint her paintings.
